Built: 1898. Altered in 1914. Damaged over the years by floods. rebuilt in 1930's. Light: Green fixed light. Description: 11.3 metres tall. Square white wooden tower. Accessible: Yes County: Kings Details/Location: Is located at Morrisdale, off of route 102, 2.5 km's above Westfield off Lighthouse Lane (Morrisdale Beach Road). Hard to see from road in the summer. The lighthouse on the property that was originally built in 1898. It was damaged in the late 1930's by a flood, rebuilt and placed in its current location. The federal government owns a small piece of property for the lighthouse and a right-of-way for maintenance purposes. The lighthouse is still a working lighthouse, powered by the sun.
